Some Trimming.

Fringed clothing has been all the rage. The hippie-love bus or maybe Native American garment has been strutting the runways of this season. TopShop or other designer brands carry this trend but they all seem a tad pricey. I spotted this dud on Novel Clothing and it sells for so much less. You can check it out right here.

P.S. I apologize for the hiatus, school has been a big b.

Life is plastic, it's fantastic!

Picture from an international fashion show? Not! This picture was grabbed from Philippine designer Yako Reyes' website. This was his piece for Barbie's 50th anniversary. I have no words to describe the loveliness of the florals and the soft pinks and peaches. His site says "Wide floral belt Php 500, Floral tote with umbrella strap Php 1,500, Floral trench coat Php 1,200." Like music to my ears!

I Love Hue

Aside from white being the perfect pallete, I believe gray is the next best thing. Seems to me that this ash color pretty much goes with everything else on the spectrum. As seen in the pictures above, Kate Bosworth and Mischa Barton made their monochomatic outfits pop with splashes of bright hues. This rainy season, let's all keep the shocking colors subtle.

Overall, they're quite fantastic.

What do you get when you put farm girl overalls, car mechanic jumpsuits, and girly dresses together? Well, you get a beautiful romper! I found these on Urban Outfitters this morning and it kills me that they don't have the store here. But I'm pretty certain chain stores like TopShop have similar styles, or maybe try your luck at The Ramp in Crossing's Department Store!

Nothing Sweeter.

These are some of the sweetest illustrations I've seen, aside from Fifi Lapin. These are illustrated by a Chinese girl named Nancy and guess what, she patterns them after herself. Yes, these are outfits she actually wore! They're so delicate, they make you blush. You can find more of her work right here.

Fashion Nutrition.

Channel your inner vintage glam girl...if you're not one yet! The mix of 80's grunge and 50's polka dots and florals, these dresses from Undernourished Manila definitely belong in our era. I love the vibe of the vintage fabrics with the classic but modern silhouettes. Im surely going to get my hands on one of these soon.

Cherie Amor

I love the delicate colors and the dainty feel of this advertisement for the Miss Dior Cherie perfume . Everything just looks so fresh and so Parisian! Her dress is just as lovely.

Here's one of their print ads. Beauty!

Give Us This Month Our Monthly Bread.

No, I didn't get the Our Father wrong. I'm talking about Sliced Bread Notebooks. I don't exactly know where these are from or where you can get these, but I just found them while reading one of my favorite blogs. Each pack comes with a dozen notebooks, labelled with numbers one through twelve to fit each month of the year. Clever, huh?
